This is a fantastic package deal. This is everything you need to get started with a starter hermit crab setup. You get 2 hermit crabs, THE CHOICE OF A 2.5 gallon glass tank with a screen top OR a 5.5 gallon glass critter cage with screen top, 2 dishes, 1 sponge, eco earth or coco soft substrate, drinking water conditioner/declorinator, hermit crab variety bites .75oz, mini undertank heater, dual thermometer/humidity gauge.

This kit includes 2 Ecuadorian Hermit Crabs or 2 Purple Pinchers depending on availability. They are clean, safe to handle and can live for years with the proper care and treatment. They require a container, water dish, food and usually a heater. In addition, they need larger shells for take up when they grow in size. We also recommend using sand and coconut fiber substrate for them to dig and molt in. We include care sheets with each live hermit crab order. If you have any questions, please email us. We require overnight shipping to guarantee 100% live delivery. If your crab does not arrive safely, please contact us immediately. Your live hermit crab is specially packed and shipped to you, usually arriving within 2 weeks of your order depending upon weather conditions.

All of our dry land hermit crabs are shipped with fresh moss and added humidity to ensure live delivery. We recommend someone be present to accept the delivery and get the crab in a suitable habitat as soon as possible.
